The Tests of Reading Comprehension 3rd ed. (TORCH 3) is a thoroughly researched and Australian-normed test used to identify comprehension levels, measure progress and use content-referenced interpretation to identify skills requiring further instruction.
The TORCH 3 Test Booklet is a full-colour, reusable, 36-page booklet, which contains all 16 reading passages. The passages vary in length from 300 to 1100 words and include fiction and non-fiction texts in a variety of text types (informational, narrative and argumentative).
Answer sheets (suitable for hand scoring and for use with Test Scoring Services) are available for all passages in the test booklet.
