The Tests of Reading Comprehension 3rd ed. (TORCH 3) is a thoroughly researched and Australian-normed test used to identify comprehension levels, measure progress and use content-referenced interpretation to identify skills requiring further instruction.

TORCH 3 Misery Bones is recommended for Years 6, 7 and 8.

• Consumable - Students mark their responses on the Answer Sheet (Answer Sheets need to be replaced each time testing takes place)
• Only for use with the passage "Misery Bones" from the TORCH 3 Test Booklet
• Cloze answer sheet - Students use a cloze answer sheet to retell the passage, filling in the gaps in their own words to demonstrate understanding
• Can be hand scored using the TORCH 3 manual, or with ACER Test Scoring Services.
