ACER Select is designed to measure verbal and numerical abilities as demonstrated by the capacity to see relationships and solve problems.
ACER Select consists of eight test forms that provide various levels of difficulty for verbal and numerical assessment.
- Select General (Verbal/Numerical): Technical, administrative, customer service and sales positions.
- Select Professional (Verbal/Numerical): Graduate recruitment, managerial or leadership roles, where the work requires a high level of reasoning ability.
- Select Parallel (Verbal Form A/Form B, Numerical Form A/Form B): Administrative, customer service and sales positions, technical, graduate recruitment, managerial or leadership roles.
ACER Select General and Professional have two separate sections – Verbal and Numerical reasoning. These four online tests can be used separately or together to provide maximum flexibility in a range of recruitment needs. The ACER Select Professional tests are more difficult than the ACER Select General tests.
ACER Select Parallel A and ACER Select Parallel B have two separate sections – Verbal and Numerical reasoning. This enables a two-staged testing opportunity using comparable but different test forms. The Parallel forms can be used separately or together to provide maximum flexibility in a range of recruitment needs. However, Form B can only be assigned to a candidate that has completed the comparable Form A.
