The purpose of How Would The Story End? is to learn to listen carefully to the details and sequence of events in each short story and then orally express an appropriate ending to that story.
The activities involve good listening, remembering details, forming logical conclusions, predicting what will happen next and expressing all these thoughts orally.
Unless the student can coordinate these skills, they cannot form a logical prediction about what will happen next. Visual clues are provided for each short story to assist students who are strong visual learners. These activities benefit students who need practice in explaining about events and situations along with daily routines.
