The Emotional Quotient Inventory: Youth Version (EQ-i YV) measures the level of social and emotional functioning in children and adolescents, aged 7-18 years.
Based on the original EQ-i for adults, the EQ-i:YV highlights areas of positive functioning as well as areas for development. Used by psychologists, school counsellors and psychiatrists, the EQ-i YV aids in identifying an individual's strengths and weaknesses in order to help that individual develop the skills needed for academic, personal, and social success.
The EQ-i YV is administered and scored online through the MHS Online Assessment Center. The MHS Online Assessment Center provides professionals the ability to administer, score and generate reports online. It also allows for printing of forms for client completion, and response entry from paper administrations.
The EQ-i YV Online Short Form allows completion of the EQ-i YV Short Form online (30 items, as oppose to the full 60 item scale). The child/adolescent (7-18 years) will select and enter their responses online (the clinician is then provided with a report). This option requires 1 Online Form per client.
For individuals who do not wish to administer the EQ-i YV assessments online, the MHS Online Assessment Center provides the capability of printing paper-and-pencil forms on demand. This option requires 1 Online Response Form (allows the printing of 1 Form, and online scoring and reporting).
