Content:

The WPP is an excellent criterion-referenced tool for the initial assessment of people who have been long-term unemployed and who have difficulties finding employment. The WPP measures:

  • Coping
  • Freedom from major barriers
  • Social resources
  • Abilities
  • Motivation
  • Physical ability

The WPP collects and manages information in the areas of support needs, strengths and weaknesses for employment, occupational planning, and the individual's developmental and current intervention or training needs.

This instrument is useful for employment agencies, employers, personnel officers, career counsellors, teachers, psychologists and rehabilitation workers.
