The MajorsPTI™ reports preferences on the four familiar Type code dichotomies, with two opposing preferences on each dichotomy:
- I/E: Introversion/Extroversion
- N/S: iNtuition/Sensing
- F/T: Feeling/Thinking
- P/J: Perception/Judgement.
Because the MajorsPTI™ uses a weighted scale for answers rather than forced-choice (true/false), it produces more accurate results than the traditional Type instrument. Additionally, you can choose between 4 different reports to suit your purpose:
