Content:

The JPI-R consists of 300 True/False items, which form 15 scales that are grouped into five higher-order clusters:

  • Analytical – Complexity, Breadth of Interest, Innovation, Tolerance
  • Extroverted – Sociability, Social Confidence, Energy Level
  • Emotional – Empathy, Anxiety, Cooperativeness
  • Opportunistic – Social Astuteness, Risk Taking
  • Dependable – Organisation, Traditional Values, Responsibility

The JPI-R can be used in counselling and clinical settings, business and industrial settings, and for psychological research.
